Lovely vintage ceramic serving platter from the 1970s with funky retro motif on classic white by Eschenbach in excellent condition.

Eschenbach Porcelain has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century, with roots in the long tradition of porcelain production in Triptis, Thuringia, Germany. The company's foundation can be traced to 1891 when the first porcelain factory in Triptis was established.
The initial production began with 200 skilled employees creating articles for daily use made of porcelain. During the 1920s, known as the Golden Twenties, the company experienced significant growth.
In the post-war era, Eschenbach continued to evolve. During the time of the German Democratic Republic, the company was under state control. By the 1970s, Eschenbach employed 1,200 workers, indicating its substantial growth and importance in the porcelain industry.
