Ditmar Urbach ceramics have a fascinating history rooted in late 19th century Bohemia, now part of the Czech Republic. The company was established in 1882 by the Urbach brothers in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia. In 1919, they merged with Rudolf Ditmar's factory, forming Ditmar-Urbach. The company operated under various names from 1882 to 1938, producing a wide range of ceramics, including highly sought-after Art Deco pieces in the 1930s.
