Iconic Murano glass mushroom table lamp from the 1950s by Massimo Vignelli for Venini. This is the amber glass version which was made in limited editions contrary to the orange version.

Venini, an iconic Italian glassmaker founded in 1921, is renowned for its masterful Murano glass lighting. Fusing traditional techniques with modern design, Venini has collaborated with designers like Carlo Scarpa, Massimo Vignelli and Gio Ponti, creating timeless, artful lamps.

Massimo Vignelli’s collaboration with Venini in the 1950s and 1960s brought a modern, minimalist touch to the company’s traditional Murano glass art. Known for his “less is more” approach, Vignelli introduced clean, geometric forms to Venini’s glass lamps, aligning with his broader design philosophy of simplicity and clarity. This partnership resulted in a collection of lighting and glassware that combined Venini’s vibrant Murano glass colors with Vignelli’s preference for structure and form, making these pieces elegant yet functional. - Dimensions: Diameter 22, Height 26 cm.
- Condition: Excellent overall, however, there is a chip on the top edge of the lamp, and the glass appears to have been glued and repaired, though it's not very noticeable—please take a close look at the detailed images provided before placing your order to ensure it meets your expectations.
- Tested and in working order, it requires an E14 light bulb, which is included. It comes with a two-pin Euro power plug.
