Vintage MCM floor lamp, IKEA PS 2017 large version by Ola Wihlborg, in discontinued navy blue, a bold sculptural presence that has become increasingly difficult to find in this size and colorway.
The PS 2017 collection was designed as a showcase of experimental Scandinavian design, and Wihlborg's floor lamp is one of its most resolved pieces, the oversized domed shade balanced on a compact truncated cone base creating a form that reads as both playful and architectural. The navy blue finish, rarer than the white and yellow versions, gives this large format lamp a weight and seriousness that sits naturally in contemporary interiors.
At Ø45 x H55 cm this is the large version, which is significantly more imposing than the smaller variant and considerably harder to source. Completely clean condition throughout, no scratches, no marks.
