Elidus Type 2206 desk lamp by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in white lacquered steel, dome shade with top-mounted on/off switch, curved metal arm on a weighted round base, Sweden 1970s.
Elidus was founded by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, the Swedish designer whose lighting output across three decades remains among the most collected in Scandinavian modernism. The Type 2206 is a less documented model within the Elidus range, the dome shade on a long curved arm gives it a presence and scale that the more compact Kuben variants don't have. At 48 cm high, it fills a desk or bedside properly. The on/off switch integrated into the top of the dome is a functional detail that feels entirely resolved rather than added as an afterthought.
White lacquered steel in very good overall condition. A very small dent on the shade and age-related patina on the underside of the base. Fully functional.
