HBH Solo Type 8300 desk and wall lamp by H. Bødtcher Hansen A/S, Denmark with a telescopic chrome antenna arm extending from a weighted rectangular base with an integrated transformer, the swivelling cube reflector head adjustable to any direction.
The Solo was advertised in December 1968 and became one of the most distinctive Danish work lamps of the period. The telescopic arm extends fully to 50cm and collapses flat into the base for storage and the lamp can transform from a compact 6.5 x 17cm unit to a full desk lamp in a single motion. The base incorporates a built-in 12V transformer and two brightness settings, offering standard and extra-bright output. Two wall-mounting hooks on the base allow it to be fixed in two different positions as a wall lamp without additional hardware. The identical lamp was also produced under license by Fagerhults Belysning in Sweden.
All original wiring intact. Good vintage condition with normal wear consistent with age.
